Tbilisoba
Tbilisi's city festival: two free days of food, wine, music and crafts across the Old Town.
Old Tbilisi (Kala)Photo: Alexxx1979, CC BY-SA 4.0Tbilisoba has been held since 1979 as a celebration of the city and of the harvest. Regional stalls sell wine, cheese, churchkhela and mtsvadi, folk ensembles and bands play on several stages, and craft markets line the old streets. In 2026 it ran on 3 and 4 October over five zones, including Rike Park, Europe Square, Gudiashvili Square, Orbeliani Square and Leghvtakhevi.
Older sources still say the last weekend of October, but every edition since 2022 has been held at the turn of September and October. The 2027 date is expected to be the first weekend of October, pending the City Hall announcement.
- Wait for the City Hall announcement in September before booking around the dates.
- Go on Saturday afternoon for the busiest atmosphere and Sunday morning for calmer stalls.
- See our full Tbilisoba guide for venues and tips.
